14-yr-old Dalit girl raped by neighbour

A minor Dalit girl was allegedly raped by her 25-year-old neighbour in Thothibari area in the district, police said today.

The incident is alleged to have taken place last night when Surendra Prajapati forcibly entered the 14-year-old's house while she was alone there and committed the misdeed, they said.

Following the incident, Prajapati was arrested and the girl sent for a medical examination.
