2 army men killed, 7 injured in mishap

Two army jawans were killed and seven others were injured when a truck belonging to 12 grenadiers fell into a gorge near Fakot in Tehri district of Uttarakhand today.

The mishap occurred when the truck carrying the jawans was going from Harshil in Uttarkashi district to Rishikesh and fell into a 100 metre deep gorge near Fakot.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital near Narendranagar.
