Two persons have been arrested here for their alleged involvement in several auto-lifting cases in the capital, police said today.
Mukesh and Robin were nabbed and seven stolen two-wheelers were recovered from them, police said.
According to police, Mukesh was nabbed on Monday in Neb Sarai area on Bandh Road as he was caught driving a bike without number plate and could not produce any documents pertaining to the ownership of the vehicle.
The motorcycle was seized as it was found to be stolen, they said.
During interrogation, Mukesh said Robin and Shabab Alam were his associates, after which Robin was arrested and five stolen motorcycles and one scooty were recovered from him, they said.
The matter is being probed and efforts are on to arrest Alam, who is absconding, police said.
