Two brothers drowned in Gomati
river while bathing in it this morning, police said here.
Danish Hussain (22) and Irfan Haider (17), who worked in Mumbai, had come here to attend the wedding of their cousin in Saidullapur Pure Mirza ka Purva village, police said.
The duo had gone to the river, about two kms from their home, to take bath when the incident took place, they said.
Locals managed to pull them out but they died on way to hospital, police said.
