A man was killed while another was injured when a speeding Scorpio SUV hit the motorbike they were travelling on.
The incident occurred under Baldeo police station late last evening.
"The accident occurred when two brothers 35-year-old Pappu and his younger brother Vijai Pal of village Bhurraka PS Sadabad district Hathras were going back to their village from Raya town of Mathura and a speeding Scorpio tossed them in the air as it hit the motorbike they were travelling on," police said.
Pappu succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital while his younger brother admitted in a private hospital is fighting for his life.
The Scorpio driver, however, managed to flee in his vehicle, police said.
