Two minors were charred to death and 10 others were injured in a fire which engulfed their huts in Leharpur area here, police said today.
Three-year-old Priyanshi and 8-year-old Mukesh died when a fire at a nearby sugarcane field in Patti Dehali village spread to their huts yesterday, they said.
10 persons were injured in the blaze, Sub Divisional Magistrate of Leharpur, Sarvesh Dixit said.
The injured have been hospitalised, he said.
Compensation would be made given to families of the deceased and those who incurred any loss in the mishap, the SDM said.
