2 children run over by two-wheeler, 2 others injured

The mishap took place when the inebriated bikers lost control and ran over three children and a woman sitting outside their house, Deputy Superintent of Police Upendra Prasad said.

A child Lalbabu (3) died on the spot, while his brother Mansoor succumbed to injuries on way to a hospital, he said.

Another boy Qadir (2) and a woman Maina Khatun (30) suffered injuries and were rushed to a hospital for treatment, Prasad said.

A biker was arrested in connection with the mishap, but three pillion riders escaped, the DSP said.
