2 CISF jawans killed by truck in Mathura

Two CISF jawans riding a bike were today killed as they were allegedly hit by a truck here.

Officials said the road accident took place at around 5:30 PM when the two Central Industrial Security Force jawans, identified as constables Amit Kumar and Rajbhor Charmakar, were on way to join night shift duty at Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) premises.

"The jawans were hit by a truck. While Charmakar was killed on the spot, Kumar died in a hospital late evening," a senior official said.

The official said police have registered a case and are looking for the truck and its driver.
