2 convicted under Gangster Act

A special court here has sentenced two persons to ten years imprisonment, holding them guilty under the Gangster Act.

Judge Mayank Chouhan also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 each on the convicts.

Sanjiv and Arvind were awarded the sentence under the Gangster Act, Additional District Government Counsel Ritu Choudhry said.

The duo was booked under the Gangster Act in Bhaiya village of the district in 2006. They were involved in rape and murder cases.
