The bullet ridden bodies of two criminals were today found in a forest in Ahiraura area of Mirzapur district.
Dharmendra Pandey alias Kallu and Rajesh Chaudhary were found dead with bullet injuries inside the forest between Ahiraura and Sukrat areas, a police spokesman said here.
During the probe, it came to the light that the duo. along with five to six others, went for a picnic at a waterfall inside the forest last evening.
Prime facie, it seems that they have shot at each other after some dispute and later died on the spot, he said.
Rajesh had connections with Munna Bajrangi gang.
His father-in-law Kripa Ram was killed in an encounter with STF in Mumbai in 2006, the police spokesman said.
