Two forest guards received burn injuries while trying to extinguish a forest fire in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, forest officials said today.
Forest guards Chanchal Singh and Arvinder suffered burns during an operation to extinguish fire in the Daran forest belt of Reasi district last evening, the officials said.
The officials were rescued by locals who rushed to the spot after hearing their cries for help, they said.
