Two key accused in the attack on AAP MLA Amarjeet Singh Sandoa surrendered before the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) here today.
SSP Raj Bachan Singh Sandhu said the two accused, Ajwinder Singh and Bachitar Singh, who were absconding, surrended after the police put pressure on them.
Police have already arrested five other accused in the case. They ar Jaswinder Singh Goldi, Amarjit Singh, Manjit Singh, Devinder Singh and Amrit Singh.
Sandoa was allegedly attacked by the goons of mining mafia near Nurpur Bedi in Ropar district on June 21 when he had gone to visit a quarry there to verify the reports of illegal sand mining.
