Two persons were killed and ten others injured when their bus rammed into a roadside tree in the wee hours today near Khanda village of Kota district, police said.
Sanjay Kumar Prajapat (30) and his 18-year-old brother Phupha were killed, while ten others, including six women were injured in the mishap, Altaaf Husain, ASI, Kota (Rural) said.
All the passengers were returning from a wedding, Husain said, adding, the driver might have fallen asleep leading to the accident.
The victims were rushed to a hospital and the bodies of the deceased handed to the family after postmortem, Husain said.
The bus was carrying 35-40 passengers, all residents of Baran district, the ASI added.
