2 killed, 8 injured in mishap

: Two persons, including a woman were killed and eight injured when their van capsized near Perunali in Ramanathapuram district today, police said.

They were part of a group of 10 persons coming from Erel in Tirunelveli distrcit to Rameswaram to attend a death function

The mishap occurred after the van driver lost control of the vehicle, police said

The injured have been hospitalised.
