At least two persons were killed today when an under construction bridge collapsed in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, officials said.
A pier of the bridge being built across the Yangtze River in Fengdu County of Chongqing collapsed and was submerged in water, they said.
Two persons have also been reported missing in the mishap.
Search and rescue is under way, state-run Xinhua news agency said.
