2 killed in separate road mishaps

Two persons were killed in separate road mishaps in the district, police said today.

Ram Singh (36) was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a tractor near Baghapurana last night, police said.

In the second incident, a couple going on a motorcycle was hit by a car last night, seven kilometres from Moga City, police said.

Jarnail Singh (55) died on the spot while his wife Jaswant Kaur was hospitalised with severe injuries, police said.
