2 MCA graduates going for interview killed in road accident

Two MCA graduates were killed by a bus in front of their college today when the two were going to attend campus recruitment drive of their institute.

Arunkumar (28) and his friend Manivannan (27) on their two-wheeler were taking a turn on a national highway to enter the private college at Ammapet when a Chennai-bound state-owned roadways bus hit them. The two died on the spot, police said.

Arunkumar, running coconut wholesale business, was married and has a son and daughter.

The two were slated to attend a campus recruitment drive being held in the college today.

The driver of the bus had been arrested under IPC section 304 A (causing death by negligence), police added.
