: Two men working in an oil company in South Sudan have reportedly been abducted by pirates off that nation's coast.
Family members of Mithun Ganesh (22) and Edward Ambrose (42) hailing from Vadakkankulam, South Tirunelveli district, said they had received information from the company
Their family members received the information from the authorities of the oil firm; they were abducted by sea pirates while on duty aboard the cargo ship off the Sudan coast.
They submitted a petition to local Radhapuram MLA Inbadurai, who assured them that he would forward it to the union government through the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami.
