2 men try to steal motorbike by entering a police station, one

An attempt by two men to steal a motorcycle by entering a police station in central Delhi's Prasad Nagar were thwarted by patrolling policemen and one of them was arrested, a police official said today.

The two accused had entered the police station yesterday to steal a motorcycle outside the malkhana (where all confiscated items are kept), police said.

However, an alert policeman saw the duo and nabbed one of them while the other managed to escape, they said.

Police are trying to arrest the other accused.
