2 persons arrested with spurious Diwali sweets

A quintal of spurious sweets, meant for supplying during Diwali, has been seized from a vehicle on Delhi-Pauri highway in the district.

We intercepted a vehicle carrying one quintal of spurious Diwali sweets near Ramraj village on Delhi-Pauri highway last evening, SHO Rajender Tyagi said.

The sweets have been seized, he said, adding that two persons have also been arrested in the connection.
