2 women killed

Two women were killed and as

many others injured when a mound of earth they were digging collapsed on them here today.

Champa Devi (50) and Rita Devi (17) were killed as they were buried in Baisaanti village under Karari police station area, police said.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital, police said adding that the bereaved families have been given an ex gratia of Rs 1.50 lakh each.
