20 injured as tractor-trolley falls in pit in AP

Nearly 20 persons of a marriage party were injured when the tractor trolley they were travelling fell into a pit at Korimerla village of Pamarru Mandal in Krishna district today, police said.

A total 25 members were travelling in the vehicle from Vemavaram Sri Kondalamma Temple to Mallumpalli village, when the accident occurred.

The members were returning after attending marriage function on Saturday afternoon. The injured were admitted to to local hospital, where the condition of two persons was stated to be serious. They were later shifted to Vijayawada, police said.
