200 cartons of smuggled liquor seized, 6 bootleggers held

City police today seized a huge cache of smuggled liquor and arrested 6 bootleggers here.

The Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) was being smuggled in UP from Haryana, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the six bootleggers and recovered 2,400 bottles of liquor, SHO Sheelesh Yadav said.

The vehicles of the accused have been impounded, he said.
