About 200 children films from 72 countries will be screened during the 18th International Children's Film Festival of India (ICFFI) to be held here from November 14-20.
While 53 films have been selected under competitions category, 143 films would be screened under non-competitions category, Andhra Pradesh Information Minister D K Aruna told reporters here.
The main aim of the film festival is to give opportunity to children from all over the country to participate and view the best films produced by world cinema, she said.

Czechoslovakia would be the focus country for the ICFFI, 2013, the minister said.
The films to be screened are put in three categories -- films produced after 2011, shorts and features.
The minister said awards would be presented in the three categories of Competition Live Action, Competition Animation feature, Competition little directors.
For the films in competition, Golden Elephant trophy and a cash prize of Rs 2,00,000 as best and Silver Elephant trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 as second best would be presented.
About 400 children representatives would attend the event.
Hyderabad has been made the permanent venue for the bi-annual event after the huge success of the festival held here in 1995 for the first time.
The Children's Film Society, Mumbai coordinates on behalf of the Union Government in organising the festival with the Andhra Pradesh government.
