21 injured in road accident in Jammu

Twenty one passengers were injured when a minibus they were travelling in turned turtle on its way to Akhnoor belt of Jammu district, police said today.

The minibus, which was on its way to Akhnoor from Pardha village, turned turtle on a road at Sungal Morh in the district last evening, they said.

In the accident, 21 passengers were injured and were shifted to a hospital, police said, adding, one of them was later shifted to Government Medical college (GMC) hospital here.

Police have registered a case in this connection.
