Twenty-nine persons were arrested after police conducted raid at a gambling den here and seized cash worth over Rs 50,000, an official said today.
According to SSP Nitin Tiwari, police received a tip-off about a large gambling session yesterday in the Khora Colony area following which they conducted a raid that landed the gamblers in police net.
Police said that apart from the cash, 25 mobile phones and chits used for gambling were seized in the raid.
