3 booked for stealing, killing cow

A case has been registered against three persons for allegedly stealing and killing a cow in Banwadi village of Gurgaon today.

The case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by one Devendra, resident of Ballabgarh in Faridabad, police said.

The police have started investigations, said investigating officer(IO) ASI Narendra Kumar.

There is a ban on cow slaughter in Haryana. It attracts a rigorous imprisonment ranging from three years to 10 years.
