3 die in Canadian Coast Guard helicopter crash

The Canadian Coast Guard says one of its helicopters has crashed in the Arctic and three people are dead.
The coast guard today said the aircraft operating from the icebreaker Amundsen crashed yesterday night in the M'Clure Strait off the coast of Banks Island in the western Arctic.
The dead are the pilot, a coast guard officer and a researcher.
Canada's transportation safety board is investigating.
