Three dreaded criminals were today allegedly shot dead by some unidentified assailants in a jungle of Hasanpur here.
Villagers of Bhusa Khedi, on hearing the sound of firing, reached the spot and found the bodies lying in a pool of blood on the road, police said.
On getting information, police reached the spot and recovered two 9mm pistols, one 315 bore pistol and 43 cartridges from the deceased, they said.

Amroha Police Superintendent Subhash Singh Baghel said after checking of diaries and mobile phones of the deceased, they found that the trio was wanted criminals of Delhi.
Two of the three criminals were identified as Shahnawaz(29) and Bhura (25), resident of Jafrabad, Delhi while the third (about 26 years) was yet to be identified, he said, adding that more than 15 cases of murder and loot were registered against them at the Welcome police station in Delhi.
Baghel said prima facie it seems they were killed due to personal enmity.
Two police teams of Amroha had been sent to Delhi to investigate the matter, he said adding after a post mortem the bodies would be sent to Delhi tomorrow.
