3 drown in TN

Three persons drowned in two

different incidents in the southern ditricts of Tamil Nadu today, police said.

Two brothers, aged 45 and 40, were swept away in Tamirabharani river at Thirupudai Marudhur in Tirunelveli District when they were taking a bath.

Their bodies were retrieved by police. In the other incident, a 11-year old boy drowned in a tank at Kananganenthal near Paramakudi in Ramanathapuram district while fishing, police said.
