3 held with arms and ammunition

The Police today arrested three persons and recovered ten 9MM improvised pistols and 30 rounds of cartridge from them.

"We had prior information that three persons were trying to sell these firearms. Accordingly a trap was laid in an area within the jurisdiction of Suti police station and we nabbed three youths - Latif Sheikh, Nawaj Sharif and Bodi Sheikh - all residents of Samsherganj area of the district along the arms and ammunition," said district Superintendent of Police, Mukesh.

The three arrested youths were being interrogated for further information, the police said.
