3 J-K students among 4 people injured in lightning-related incident

Four people, including three students, were injured in a lightning-related incident in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, police said today.

The incident took place at the Joura Kahara Middle School in the Gandoh area yesterday.

Three students -- Simran Devi and Haroon Rashid (both 12 years), Nadeem Ahmad (13) -- and Parveena Begum (40) were injured, police said.

Nadeem has been referred to the Thathri community health centre for further treatment, while the rest were discharged after being given first-aid at the Gandoh hospital, they said.
