3 killed as jeep falls into gorge in Uttarakhand

Three persons were killed and five injured today when a jeep in which they were traveling fell into a gorge here.

The vehicle, which was carrying the passengers from Haldwani to Gangolihat, met with the accident as it fell into a ditch near Chaunsali, police official said.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital and investigations are on, they said.
