: Three members of a family were hacked to death reportedly in a row over complaint against a man formisbehaving with a woman at Nettur near Alangulam tonight.
Police said Pechithai (45) had recently complained to police against one Muthuraj of the same village, who had allegedly tried to misbehave with her relative Mariamal (32) who was staying with her.
Enraged by the complaint muthuraj and some others hacked Petchthai, her 75-year-old father and Mariammal and escaped under the cover of darkness, they said.
A search had been launched to nab the culprits, they said.
