Three members of a family, including a five-year-old girl, were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a van near Kachi Deeh village in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district today.
Samar Bahadur (24), his father Ambika Prasad (60) and daughter Radhika (5) were killed when the speeding van coming from the opposite direction hit their motorcycle this afternoon, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The driver of the vehicle fled the spot after the accident, the police added.
