3 officials suspended due to technical glitch at Omar's rally

Three officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Information department, including the Anantnag District Information Officer, were put under suspension after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today failed to address a rally in the district due to glitch in the public address system.
Anantnag District Information Officer Tanveer Ahmad and two other officials were placed under suspension after the public address system stopped functioning abruptly as the chief minister was about to begin his speech at a rally in Bijbehara town of the district, 45 kms from here, officials said.
The chief minister then left the venue without addressing the gathering, they added.
