Three pilgrims were killed and 25 others injured when the pickup vehicle they were travelling in overturned into a roadside ditch near Belha turn here this morning, police said.
They were returning from the Devi Patan temple in Tulsipur when their vehicle met with the accident, killing Lalaram (25), his mother Kalawati (55) and Abhay (5 months) on the spot, they said.
The injured have been admitted to hospital where the condition of three was stated to be serious, the police said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, they added.
