Three alleged quacks were today arrested from RK Puram area in a joint raid conducted by Delhi Police alongwith officials of Delhi Government and Medical Council.
Mohidin was held from KD Camp locality who had been practising for 15 years. Medicines including TB drugs and antibiotics were seized from him, said a police officer.
Two other quacks, Asha Biswas and Mohammad Saif, were arrested from Sector 7 of RK Puram. Biswas has a BA degree but was practising as a doctor for a long period and even carried out deliveries, he said.
However, two other quacks managed to flee during the raid, the officer said, adding, further investigations are underway.
