31 sex workers rescued

Thirty-one sex workers were

rescued and eight persons arrested from a red light area in Ishratganj here, police said today.

The girls were rescued and the arrests were made in a raid conducted last night in the area, Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Jha said.

He said the rescued girls are mostly from Bihar and West Bengal.
