34-day Hyderabad winter races commence from Nov 4

The winter session consist of 229 races which will be held on 15 Sundays, 15 Mondays, one Saturday, one Tuesday and two Fridays, a Hyderabad Race club prospectus said here today.

The Sweepstakes terms are Deccan Bookmakers Golconda Derby Stakes Grade I, Deccan Bookmakers Golconda 1000 Guineas Grade II, Deccan Bookmakers Golconda 2000 Guineas Grade II, Golconda Oaks Grade II, Smt Teegala Sulochana Reddy Memorial Byerly Turk Million Grade III, Pratap Stud Darley Arabian Million Grade III, K Rajendra Singh Memorial Golconda Juvenile Million Grade III, VIF Stud Godolphin Barb Million Grade III, Alcock Arabian Million Grade III, Bhagyanagar Juvenile Million, Deccan Juvenile Million, R S Jhunjhunwalla Memorial Juvenile Million, Eureka Forbes Yougsters Million, Hyderabad Juvenile Million, Qutub Shahi Cup and Kakatiya Million Grade III.

 

Out of 229 races 25 are category I races, 92 Category II races , 96 category III races and remaining 16 are sweepstake-terms races., the release added.

Rs 30,28, 000 worth trophies amount was kept for 100 trophies during the session and total stake money for the season is Rs 11,60,65,000.
