The 34th Junior National Taekwondo and 7th National Junior Poomsae Taekwondo championships will be held at Rajiv Gandhi Port Indoor stadium here from February 26 to 28.
Addressing a media conference today, organising secretary P Atchuta Reddy said the Andhra Pradesh Taekwondo Association in association with Taekwondo Federation of India is conducting the two championships.
He said a total of 28 units from all states of the country will participate in the event. Each contingent will have two coaches, two managers and boys and girls participants who will participate in eight categories.
For the championships, there will be five courts of 8X8 meters size and a special taekwondo turf will be laid for participants.
Each court will have seven referees and overall more than 50 referees will be put on job besides, announcers, jury and adjudicators.
