4.95 quintal rice meant for black marketing seized

Acting on a tip off officials raided a godown at the house of Izhar Hazi and recovered 4.95 quintal rice worth lakhs of rupees at Masjidgarh locality, Kochadhaman Block Development Officer Sanjay Kumar said.

An FIR has been lodged in this connection, he said adding raids were being carried out to nab the blackmarketeer.
