4 arrested for smuggling 40 kg ganja

Monica Rai, who hails from Assam, Bablu Kumar Gupta and Santu Kumar Mishra, residents of Katihar district in Bihar, were allegedly delivering a consignment to Pramod Jha on Saturday, Vijaynagar police station SHO Rajesh Dwivedi said yesterday.

They were allegedly taking the ganja to Noida, where Jha currently stays, to be later sold in NCR, he said, adding that they regularly supply narcotics in the region.
