4 arrested in Muzaffarnagar for betting on IPL match

Four persons were arrested here for allegedly placing bets on an IPL match during a police raid last evening.

Police said the accused were produced before a court here today which sent them to judicial custody till May 25.

SSP Bablu Kumar said 13 mobile phones, Rs 1.29 lakh in cash, two vehicles, fake Aadhaar cards and some others papers were seized from them.

He said police are conducting searches for five other accused who were associated with the group.
