4 dead, 8 others injured in lightning

Four persons were killed and eight others injured when lighting struck them at a place under Jobang police station limits of the district, a senior police officer said.

"We have received information that four persons were killed and eight others injured in lightning in Jobang police station limits," said Superintendent of Police, Karthik S adding, more details were awaited.

All injured have been sent to a hospital in adjoining Latehar district, he added.
