Four members of a family were today injured when a wall of a building adjacent to their tea stall collapsed on top of them due to heavy rains in Kavinagar area of the district.
The tea stall owner, Ramvachan (35), his wife Seema (32) and their two sons Rahul (9) and Golu (7) were injured after a wall of Northern India Textile Research Institute collapsed on them, police said.
On receiving information, a police team reached the spot and extricated those trapped under the debris with the help of locals and rushed them to hospital.
Ramvachan suffered critical injuries and was referred to GTB Hospital in East Delhi for further treatment. The condition of the rest of the injured is stated to be stable.
