4 kg opium seized, 2 arrested in Raj

Two alleged smugglers were arrested and four kg of opium was seized from their possession in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan today.

Following a tip off, Special Operations Group (SOG) from Udaipur intercepted a vehicle at Gulabpura in Bhilara and seized the opium, ADG (SOG) and ATS Umesh Mishra said.

The arrested persons have been identified as Rajaram Vishnoi and Dharmpal Jaat, both residents of Hanumangarh district, he said.
