4 killed in jeep-truck collision in Bihar

Four persons were killed and as many injured in a head-on collision between a jeep and a truck here this evening, the police said.

The accident took place in Rafiganj police station area.

All the victims were travelling in the jeep, police said adding that the driver and the helper of the truck fled from the spot.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination to the Sadar hospital where the injured persons are undergoing treatment.

Both vehicles, badly damaged in the collision, have been seized, the police added.
