4 labourers die while cleaning liquor factory tank in UP

Four labourers today died while cleaning a tank in a liquor factory at Rampur district, police said.

One of the labourers slipped and fell inside the tank while cleaning it following which six others entered into it to rescue him, but they all fell unconscious, a police spokesperson said.

All of them were rushed to a hospital in Moradabad where Nasir (35), Pappu (32), Sunder (30) and Nirmal (33) died, the spokesperson said, adding the other two labourers were still undergoing treatment.
