4 minor boys drown in pond

Four children drowned in a pond today at Bhadkiya village in the district here, police said.

"The kids drowned while taking a bath in a pond in the village situated about 10-km from here," said Rajendra Nagar police station in-charge, Kamlesh Sharma.

The deceased have been identified as Sandeep (7) and Satish, Shekhar and Rajesh (all aged 10 years), he said, adding that a case has been registered in the matter and the bodies sent for autopsy.
